ROUND GRAIN RICE

Round grain rice is the most popular type of rice in Russia. It is rich in complex carbohydrates, which are slowly absorbed, saturating the body for a long time. Round grain rice is used for milk cereals, soups, sushi, as well as casseroles and desserts. To make the rice less sticky, before cooking it must be rinsed well several times and do not stir during cooking, allowing the steam to escape through the formed geysers in the rice layer.

COOKING METHOD:

Pour rice into water or milk in a ratio of 1: 2.5. Bring to a boil.
Add salt and sugar to taste.
Cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes.
