Pasta in Pesto sauce

Pasta with the most famous Italian sauce. And the greenest. But don't worry. Cooking is easy and simple. And pesto.

We take durum wheat pasta and add thick Pesto sauce from the very heart of Italy. It is from there that all its ingredients come from: aromatic basil, aromatic garlic, seasoned parmesan and selected nuts. And, of course, olive oil.

A complete dish is already ready. But if you want to develop this gastronomic story, then you can add chicken fillet and cherry tomatoes. Or, for example, a red fish.

Ingredients: pasta from durum wheat flour of group A of the highest grade "Corrugated feathers" (durum wheat flour for premium pasta, drinking water); sauce based on vegetable oils - sauce "Pesto" (drinking water, refined deodorized sunflower oil, fructose, thickeners (xanthan gum, guar gum, E1422), salt, unrefined olive oil, basil, cheeses (including Parmesan cheese) , garlic, cashew kernels, peanuts, black pepper extract, glucose, egg yolk, dry milk whey, maltodextrin, basil extract, acidity regulator acetic acid, antioxidants (citric acid, E319, E385), cartamus extract (safflower) and spirulina, preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate) Product may contain traces of mustard, sesame seeds, shellfish, crustaceans, fish, celery, soy and their derivatives.

Additionally you will need: chicken fillet 200 g, milk / cream 10% 100 ml, cherry tomatoes 100 g, vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l., basil cheese, pine nuts to taste.

  1. Add pasta to boiling salted water. Cook for 7-9 minutes.
  2. Fry the chicken fillet in heated vegetable oil until golden brown, salt to taste.
  3. Then add the cherry tomatoes, cut into halves, fry a little to soften the tomatoes.
  4. Add sauce, milk (or cream). Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add boiled pasta, mix thoroughly, heat and remove from heat.
  5. Place on a platter, sprinkle with grated cheese if desired, garnish with basil and pine nuts.

Try it with smoked chicken fillet or red fish too!
